Saraswathi Vidyalaya welcomed its new batch of Lkg students for the academic year 2019-20 with new hopes, new dreams, and new heights to achieve. Being a paramount landmark in the academic journey of a student the first day of school is always special and memorable. While the students seemed to settle in quickly in their new environment, the parents participated in an orientation program organized by the school. Dr. L R Madhujan an eminent psychologist and Director of the renowned rehabilitation center Karunasai (Vellanadu) was our guest speaker. This interactive session was very interesting and truly inspiring. The main topics addressed during the session were related to parental guidance along with the provision of ample encouragement and motivation, the significance of enhancing the inquisitive nature in children, methods to bring a balance in their socio-emotional state, and various techniques for the impartation of moral values. Very positive feedback was provided by the parents. Hence the first day of our toddlers was an absolute success in every sense of the word.
